The game centers on the sudden disappearance of an ambitious engineer and his high-society wife. This leads to a quest to find artifacts, which will be the goal. In each room you visit, you will find a hidden artifact.
Overall, The Room 4: Old Sins is a good addition to the already great game. Here, you have a new set of rooms to explore and new puzzles to solve. It also has improved graphics, making the visuals top-notch. Although, since it shares the same gameplay, a bit of puzzle repetition has begun to creep in. You will also find it hard to follow the storyline.
The Room 4: Old Sins features a strange, multi-room dollhouse to explore and continues the engaging puzzle gameplay of its predecessors set against the background of a tragic story. In a considerable visual upgrade from the mobile release, Fireproof Games have re-built, re-textured and re-lit every shiny object and atmospheric environment in the game to pull players further into the mysterious world of The Room.
The building's ornate facade - complete with wrought iron gates and elaborate brickwork - houses every room from the game, meaning Lego renditions of the foyer, study, kitchen, and attic, alongside more exotic areas such as the Curiosity Room, Japanese Gallery, Maritime Room & Art Studio, and garden, complete with gazebo.

It would have been great for me to schedule it to not update during a set amount of time, and to download during another set. All it would have to do is have a small mark next to the game in my library that indicates a new update is available.
Ouf, my installation procedure wasnt THAT bad, although when i tried to log in the website it went to the hotmail logout page instead of login me in at games for windows live. My sollution was to download the frigging program and login in there, which worked fine.
On the other hand I could not get the damned thing to use an online GFWL profile so it would record achievements. I did follow advice on the support forums to remove GFWL and its runtime (as installed by the game), download the latest from the GFWL site and install that and then try again.
